Flashes. Lights. Make up. That was her world. Smiles. Clothes. Fashion clothes. Horrible clothes. Clothes that, willingly or not, she had to wear. That was what she loved to do. More lights. Lipstick. Screams. But what about the Carnival? Boos. Applauses. Arms pulling her. She knew she shouldn’t leave that place, what would she be without that? “Ignore everyone”. Keep walking. Fake smile. But that didn’t seem like her place anymore. Something was wrong now, since the Carnival. Change clothes. Make up. Lights. Smile. Smile more. Put some effort on! She knew why. Since he present himself as the Dark Joker. The lights now flashed strongly, the deafening noise, the smiles and cameras... It seemed like the wrong place to be. Deep inside, she knew that wasn’t her place anymore. She knew which one was.
Wherever he was, her place was beside him.
”And the biggest attraction of the moment, ! The 19 years old Brazilian that has been conquering the catwalks around the world with all her elegancy and beaty! Currently living in Rome, Italy, she plans to stop for a bit, after 14 months in a row being in catwalks of various countries like Greece, USA, Ireland, United Kingdom...
‘It’s time to visit my ancestor’s countries and where I live know! It’s been a while I want to visit Verona and Venice. I’m in love with Shakespeare, and a bit of culture doesn’t hurt anyone’ claims the young lady.”
- Vogue Magazine
“It seems that our star will pause a bit before returning to the catwalks! , the famous model, internationally known, will rest in the gentle city of Venice, maybe passing by Verona. We talked to the lady, and it seems her heart has not been as busy as the owner.
‘It’s been a while since I got attached to someone. With this busy life, I could hardly take care of a cat, imagine a boyfriend!’
We asked if in this holiday there are possibilities of someone stealing little ’s heart.
‘Oh... It can always happen’.”
- R.S Magazine!
“And the band Before You Exist, after some travels in their first big world tour, it’s finally coming back to their new home, recently bought in Venice, in Italy, for a deserved holiday! The whole band will live together, and told us in a quick stop in the airport:
‘It’s time to stop a bit to create inspiration, relax and enjoy what we can, and then, come back stronger! We want to keep away from the American influence a bit, I hope Italy results in good compositions!’”
- R.S Magazine!
put the magazines down with a smile. It was funny to see herself on magazines’ covers and articles, she didn’t get used to it. It all started like and empty dream, that starting gaining form and growing more and more. She looked out of the hotel’s window. Rome was a beautiful city.
The telephone rang.
- ?
- Yes?
- It’s me, Evans. – Her manager.
- Hello, Ev. How are you?
- I’m wonderful, and you? Are you enjoying your holiday? – He asked playful and she smiled largely, stretching herself on the bed.
- Yes. Although I arrived here recently, I already loved the city.
- Hmm, that’s good. I have news for you. – He said worried and she asked what it was. – You’ll have another succession of parades. The holiday was delayed.
She felt her stomach sink a few centimetres and wanted to scream. But her voice failed.
- It’s ok. – She answered with a weak voice.
- I’m sorry , but it’s a big company, you know how it is... Famous stylist, we can’t contradict her...
- No, it’s fine. – She interrupted him. – Where it’s the first parade?
- There in Rome, then you pass through some more Italian cities like Venice, you’ll go to Czechoslovakia, Slovenia and then you’re free.
- Right.
- I’ll try to arrange a scheme so that you’ll be able to at least enjoy the Venetian Carnival, since you’ll be around.
- Thanks, Evs, it’ll be great. – She said happily.
- You’re wonderful, ! I promise to find a way to extend your holiday, okay? – She laughed with the manager and then hang up, promising to be excited for the parade. And for the Carnival.
- Are we going out? – asked, strumming something on the guitar whilst watched TV with a glass of something alcoholic on his hand. They were in Rome, and then they would go to Venice, to visit the house.
- Go where? – He asked sulky. He wasn’t excited to live in Italy, away from everything and everyone. The opposite of , which basically freaked out.
- I learned that’s going to be a parade here. What do you think?
- Parades are the same things as our concerts, . Flashes, screams. Nothing more. And I’m tired of that. – He lied. He’d rather be on stage than on a house in Italy with his best friends. Not that it was bad, but the part of ‘in Italy’ bothered him.
- Nothing more but beautiful woman in sexy outfits. – said. – C’mon, let’s go out a bit, and this parade seems cool!
- Ok, ok, I’ll think about it. – said, sipping his drink and getting up, going to the bedroom.
rolled his eyes and noted a sequence of chords down on a napkin. He didn’t like to see drinking, although he was of age. He didn’t like the consequences of drinking.
was going to be the third to go in. She was already in her strapless, short, black dress that was above the knee with loads of colourful geometric forms drawn on. She was wondering if someday someone would wear a dress like that just because she was. She looked at other girls and realized some were really ridiculous. She couldn’t imagine how some people liked that. She heard the screams from outside and someone came to finish doing her hear. They touched up her make up sharply, making her contract herself a bit. She was the next one.
She raised her chin, arranged her hair and gave the first step on the catwalk.
- I can’t believe you convinced me to come. – moaned, sitting on a chair and paying attention to the lights. looked amazed to a super-powerful camera.
- Mamma mia... – He dared to do an Italian accent, making laugh. The latter looked also in admiration to the camera, but suddenly the flashes popped and applauses, shouts and whistles began. They looked at the catwalk and saw a beautiful blonde walking with a fake smile and a tacky dress. cheered next to , which boredom grew at each step of the blonde. She turned around and started to go back when another on went in. Another blonde, a bit better than the first one. started to classify her in a scale from 1 to 10 and thought about doing it with all the models. He grimly prepared himself for the next girl, but as she got in he even forgot his scale’s value. He looked amazed at the legs, the curves, the smile, the hair, everything on that girl that calmly walked until him. couldn’t hold back anymore and was giving her a standing ovation, but could barely breathe. She passed her eyes through the audience, with the most natural smile he had even seen, and for thousandths of a second their eyes met and he felt he couldn’t ever breathe again.
She turned around and started to wiggle her waist, couldn’t stand to look anymore, yet he couldn’t move his eyes from her. After she disappeared, his conscience of the flashes, shouts, applauses and boos next to him returned. Boos? He couldn’t understand how someone could boo a creature so beautiful like her. The leaned on the chair and took a deep breath, recovering all the lost air. Now that parade was become worthy.
The girl appeared a few more times and, at the end of the parade, was astonished. He never thought he could see the same girl thousands of times with different clothes without getting tired, but there was the proof that he was wrong. He wished that she would appear again, and again, he didn’t care about the outfit as long as she would appear.
At the end of the parade, , already in a taxi, looked at the stars and thought about someone. That guy in the audience... He was no stranger to her, but she couldn’t remember from where she knew him. She realized he looked carefully at her, and she couldn’t help but let her eyes lose themselves in his irises. She sighted and thought that she couldn’t, she shouldn’t fall in love, not now.
But who talked about falling in love?! She got scared with herself to think in such terms. She found him cute. Point.
and walked in the car park, looking for the car, and was lost in thoughts. That girl... It seemed that the more he thought of her, more impossible it became to remember all the details and he felt distressed.
- Sorry, dude. – said suddenly and looked at him. – You didn’t have fun, I thought it would be good for you to get out of the house and see women. – He shrugged. – You gay. – They laughed.
- Don’t worry, . It was good, really. – He said, tapping his mate’s shoulder.
- You fell for the third one, isn’t it? – said laughing and snorted, going inside the car.
- She was pretty. That’s it.
hid his laughter and started the car, going out of the crowded car park.
- Do you want to go the Venetian Carnival? They say it’s awesome.
- Cool. I need something like that. – said and went back to looking out of the window.
Some days passed and was in Venice. She was walking, in lingerie and a silk robe, through the 5-star hotel room in which she was staying; she didn’t care about the window because the curtains were drawn. She was bored, the parade of the previous night had been wonderful and now she had two weeks until the next one, from which she would spend eleven days in Venice, enjoying the Carnival. She always missed Rio de Janeiro’s Carnival, but she wanted to take the chance to go to the Venetian on, worldwide known as well.
She sat on in front of a desk, crossed her long and tanned legs and took bond paper, pen and rubber. She started to draw a costume, just to kill time. She didn’t know if she would really go to the Carnival. Ten days of party where too much for her. Maybe she would go to some and not to other, who could tell. Suddenly, she remembered the eyes of the guy that looked at her whilst she parade in Verona, some days ago. She sighed involuntarily, getting the memory out of her mind. She concentred on the paper, but didn’t manage anything for fifteen minutes, so sighed again and went towards her wardrobe. She put on a pair of jeans, a baby blue shirt lying on the right shoulder, a blue headband and a black belt on top of the shirt, defining her waist. On her feet, an oldie but goodie black Converse. Whoever saw her, would only say that she was a pretty young lady and not an internationally famous model. She liked to be simple when she wasn’t in the catwalk.
She got out of the apartment and knocked on the opposite one, in a matter of seconds, Hector, a stylist friend, opened the door.
- Princess! – He gave a small jump and she laughed, going inside his apartment. – What brings you here? I thought you were resting.
- I was. But before going home, I wanted to ask you a favour. – She made a sweet face and he sighed.
- My God. Don’t do that with me, girl. Say it.
- I wanted to go to the Venetian Carnival. And I wanted ABSURD costumes! – She said, walking through the room whilst her friend looked at her carefully. – I don’t want repeated ones. I pretend to go on five days, every other day. Not the first one but the second and so on. I want to be splendid!
- I understand. – Hector gave a sideways smile. – And you want me to make your clothes? You crazy, I don’t have too much time to do it.
rolled her eyes and sat next to the stylist.
- I just want you to make the last one. And that you come with me to buy the other costumes and masks so that I don’t get it wrong. – She blinked cutely. – Please, Hec.
- Fine. Let’s go. – He got up and she laughed.
- Is it fine? - asked, putting on a black and kind of feminine mask.
- It’s wonderful, it matches your gayness. – said laughing and stuck out his middle finger, putting the mask back in place.
The pair of them where in a costume shop and tried to choose what to wear for the Carnival. They weren’t looking for too many costumes, one was enough. wanted a black one, and didn’t mind the colour as long as it wasn’t feminine.
They kept walking through the corridor until stop by a black one. It wasn’t much sexual; it seemed like a black Joker. It had a mask that covered only the eyes and the nose, with long feathers on the extremities.
- I liked this one. – He murmured and stopped by his side, examining it.
- You bet. Damn, why do you have to see the amazing stuff before? – He complained and laughed, taking the costume. He went to the changing rooms and in a few minutes he was dressed. It was uncomfortable. He put on the mask and made a seductive face for himself, then laughing.
He put his normal clothes back on and when out of the changing room, founding examining a green costume, similar to his.
- Hey there, Tinkerbell. – He said, making give up on that one.
In the feminine section of that same store, walked with Hector by her side.
- I’m going to rent them, because buying to use once in a lifetime isn’t worth. – She said laughing. Hector liked the lady’s company; she wasn’t like those snob models.
- You’re right. But the one I’ll do for you, you’ll have to always wear it! – He demanded and she agreed, laughing. They went around the shop, chose some.
They were very different, some short, some long, with feathers, laces, glitter etc. She chose masks that covered only her eyes and nose, living her mouth uncovered. She ended up choosing a light green one (by the way, the one that found Tinkerbell –like for ), a pink one, a white one and a navy one. Hector approved all of them.
When they were going to the till, in the same direction as Conner, a man came inside the shop with a bouquet of roses and threw himself at ’s feet.
- My Goddess! Love of my life! Marry me! I love you! – got scared and looked at Hector. He made her a sign, indication to her to go out of the shop, he would pay and they would sort it out later.
- I... I’m sorry... I can’t... – She said embarrassed, the man nearly cried at her feet, begging. That never happened to her before.
- I love you, I love you, I love you... – He repeated. She widened her eyes and ran out the store, leaving Hector to pay for the costumes.
saw a movement and went to see what it was, but he could only see a girl running out of the store and man crying with a huge bouquet getting up and going after her. There were loads of excited people and he didn’t know why, until reached him, gasping.
- There was a supermodel here at the store. – He said with his eyes shining. rolled his eyes.
- I thought it was something more serious. – He said and went to the till, where a man was paying for four feminine costumes.
- Gay. – whispered very low to , which held his laughter. After the man, they paid for the rental of the costumes and went out.
- I’m really sorry Hec. – said for the millionth time, seeing her friend draw her costume. It would be a surprise.
- , darling, calm down. It was fine. Except the part of the two boys calling me gay because I was paying for four feminine costumes. – When she heard that, burst out laughing, getting up and taking a mango juice from the mini-bar.
- It must have looked like. – She shrugged and took a sip, frowning. – Why aren’t the mango juices like the ones in Brazil?
- I have an idea. Because we’re in Italy?! – Hector said as if it was obvious and snorted, walking impatiently through the room.
- Today is the first day of Carnival. I’m going tomorrow. – She thought out loud. She laid on her friend’s large double bed and looked at the ceiling. – I think I’ll wear the Lotus Princess one.
She named each of her characters and the pink dress was named Lotus Princess.
- You looked incredible in it, on the other hand, you look incredible in any outfit. After all, you’re a supermodel. – Hector said over his shoulders, without taking his attention away from the drawing. Next to him there were two sacks full of fabrics and embellishments such as glitter and sequins. – Don’t you want to make your mask?
- Good idea! – She liked the idea of getting rid of boredom and got up, taking a blank mask she had bought.
She sat next to her friend and started to think.
At night, and were wearing their costumes, in the middle of the cheerful Venetian people. They had fun and danced, ignoring any other thing that could happen.
- Dude, I need something to drink! – exclaimed and agreed, and the two of them went looking for somewhere to buy a drink.
They spotted a small tent and when there. In front of it, there was a girl wearing pink, and blinked to .
- Wow. – whispered and they waited for the girl to pay. – I’ll buy, go after her! – said to , which agreed and went after the lady.
At the end of the night, both and the lady were very happy.
- Oh, I’m anxious! – moaned, putting on her clothes.
- Go earlier then. – Hector simply said.
- I don’t want to get there too early. – She pouted. She finished doing her make up and put on a pink mask, careful not to smudge anything. Her lips, the same colour as the outfit, opened up in a smile and she approved the costume. Hector had incorporated a few green details to the costume, easy to take off when returning, to seem more like a Lotus flower.
- Very good, princess. – Hector bowed, making laugh.
- I think I’m going now! If I get tired, I’ll be back soon. – She blew him a kiss and got out of the hotel. A few paparazzi took pictures, but she didn’t bother. There was nothing wrong with her, so she walked towards the cheerful crowd.
was alone that time; claimed he didn’t want to be the third wheel, so he went looking for someone for himself. looked for Francesca, the girl wearing pink on the day before, but he didn’t know if he would succeed. There were too many people. He spotted a girl similar to her wearing a pink costume and gave a sideways smile, going towards her.
- Why aren’t you in the middle of the crowd? – He asked, stopping beside her. The girl was standing still, just looking at people passing by and dancing. She looking at him with her big, eyes, covered by an also pink mask.
- Excuse me? – She asked and so he realized she wasn’t Francesca.
- Oh, sorry... I thought that... You were someone else. – He smiled awkwardly and she laughed.
- No problem. As of your question, I want to keep away from the crowd for now, in order to go home alive. – She smiled sideways and observed those pinkish lips show beautiful teeth. He thought he had seen this smile before, but couldn’t remember where.
- Yeah, sometimes the view from outside is better, isn’t it, mademoiselle? – He leaned on wall that was behind them and she did the same. She laughed at his accent.
- Yes. But mademoiselle is for French girls. We’re in Italy, call me bambina. – She blinked at him and he laughed.
- You’re good with accents. Bambina. – He reinforced and she grinned.
- Are you a tourist? – She asked. started to observe the guy she was talking to. He was very handsome.
- Yes. To be honest, I just bought a house here, but I’m still a tourist because I don’t know anything. – He laughed. – You?
- Basically the same thing. I travel a lot, so this is the first time I stopped and looked at the city. I bought the house a while ago, though. – smiled.
- Yeah, I travel too. I just came from a... – If he preferred not to say he had a band, he shouldn’t mention that he was on tour too, right? - ... trip to some countries I made with friends.
- Really? It’s so cool. I love it. – said looking to the people. She didn’t worry about following them from inside or outside the crowd anymore. It was good taking to the guy with the black costume.
- So... What’s your name? – asked, touching the wall with his shoulder and looking at her directly. She had such a beautiful face...
- Lotus Princess. – She answered blinking at him. laughed out loud and she pretended to be offended. – Hey, it’s a creative name, ok?!
- Of course, princess. – He bowed and gave a sideways smile, which had to hold a sigh when seeing.
- And you? – She asked and thought about a creative name.
- I’m the Dark Joker. – He frowned and she held her laughter, but he couldn’t help himself and burst out laughing, making her laugh too. The two of them laughed for a while and ended up closer unconsciously. When they calmed down, saw the Dark Joker’s eyes closer than she expected. “What beautiful eyes” she thought to herself. thoughts weren’t so different, looking at the Lotus Princess’ eyes.
- Are going to be here tomorrow? – He asked murmuring and she shook her head.
- I can't manage so many days of partying. I’ll come every other day.
- And can I see you when you come? – He asked smiling and putting his hand on her chin. She felt her heart beating faster when his fingers touched her slightly, and she asked herself what was happening to her.
- Of course. – She whispered and grinned. – But I won't come with the same outfit. You’ll have to find me. – She challenged him, recovering her senses a bit and ignoring the mild breath of the guy on her face, provoking her. He raised an eyebrow and laughed slightly.
- Give me a hint. – He whispered. blinked sometimes and widened her smile.
- I’ll be wearing green.
- Wonderful. – He said and rolled his eyes. She laughed. She then realized he was holding her hand. For how long has he being done that? She looked at their intertwined fingers for a while and smiled slightly. noticed and blushed, withdrawing his hand delicately.
- I’m sorry. – He said, embarrassed. smiled slightly.
- No problems. – She answered. They were really close, shoulder to shoulder.
- Can I take you to a place? – asked, still embarrassed.
- What place?
- A park near here. I found it yesterday. I promise I won't do anything, it’s just that I’d like to talk to you in a quieter place; we’re not watching the Carnival anyway... – said quickly and smiled.
- Of course. – She agreed and intertwined their hands again. She liked that. He smiled, feeling lucky, and pulled her by the hand until where he wanted to go.
They spent the whole time talking, until the night fell upon them. was astonished at everything she told him, he felt he never met a girl like her before. And since he started talking to her, his heart was beating faster and he couldn’t control it.
couldn’t take her eyes off the Dark Joker’s eyes. She didn’t reveal her name, afraid after what happened at the costume store. He didn’t force her either, and she liked that. She liked the way he was interested on every little thing she said or did. She liked to feel that way. And she found herself liking the guy without even knowing his name.
- Where were you? I looked for you the whole time yesterday! – complained, as soon as got in the kitchen, with a messy hair and wearing only boxers. Before could answer, and got in the kitchen. – Look at this!
turned the laptop towards , which leaned on and saw the open article. As he was reading, his mouth opened slowly, in astonishment.
”The supermodel , 19, was seen enjoying the second day of Carnival. Wearing a pink outfit, she was seen leaving her hotel around 17:00 and returning late night, in the company of a guy wearing a black costume. “
Below the article there was a picture of leaving the hotel, one of her at the beach, modelling for some clothes’ brand and one next to it, of her and saying goodbye, at the hotel’s door, with a kiss on the cheek. was rapturous.
- Man! It’s the model! The one we saw at the parade! – He said, pointing at the screen and to the window, as if the parade was at his backyard on that moment. didn’t say anything; he only observed the Lotus Princess and him on the last picture. The whole time, he talks with the model he had found perfect and didn’t even suspect it.
So , looking again to ’s picture with her, finally realized.
- FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK! IT’S YOU! – He exclaimed, scaring and making him finally take his eyes off the picture. – YOU WERE WEARING BLACK AND AND AND AND... – He couldn’t finish the sentence.
- Calm down, dude. I didn’t even know it was her. Really. – He reinforced when the others gave him an incredulous look. was still astonished. – I’m going... I’m going to my room. – He told them and turned around, quickly going up the stairs.
His head spun. He didn’t feel fooled, not in the slightest. He understood her side. However, to remember each moment of the previous night and to know that they were with a supermodel... Made them even better. And a smiled formed upon his face to think about how much she smiled, when she held his hand... sat on the bed with a grin and the conviction that enjoyed the night as much as him.
woke up and smiled. She remembered the Dark Joker’s smile, and his eyes, and sighed. She hadn’t felt that way in a long time. Despite not having an idea about how, she knew she knew him from somewhere. She got up and went to the toilet; she did her morning hygiene routine, took a shower and went to the kitchen, to prepare something to eat.
On the kitchen table there were the magazines she was flipping through some days before. One of them was open and moved closer to re-read it, imagining that maybe Hector was reading it. Coincidence or not, that was the one that had an article and a picture of Before You Exit. It took her a while, but when she saw ’s eyes and smile, she was astonished and desperately took the magazine. The boy’s name wasn’t written there, so he went on Google, forgetting about the breakfast, and looked for it.
- . – She said out loud and then smiled foolishly.
- Who? – She heard a voice behind her and jumped out of fright, turning around and staring at Hector. – Sorry darling, I didn’t mean to scare you. The door was open.
- It’s fine. – She answered, breathing heavily with her hand upon her racing heart.
- So... – Hector said, sitting on a seat. – Who’s ?
smiled and sat next to her friend, telling him everything that happened on the previous night.
- But you didn’t tell him your name, did you? – Hector asked, delighted and astonished at the same time.
- No, I... After that day on the costume store... I’m being more cautious. – said, lowering her eyes.
- What happened? – Hector asked, inclining his head and looking at her.
- I don’t feel well knowing you he is and hiding who I am. – She murmured.
- Honey, honey. – Hector got up and sat next to her, taking her hand delicately. – You’re not hiding you are. I bet that, from what you told me, you’re being more sincere with him than with other people. It’s not the name that’s on magazines’ covers – He pointed at the kitchen table. – that says who you are, . The girl you really are is right here. – He pointed at her heart with a smile. heard everything with a weak smile and, when he finished, she grinned and hugged her friend.
- Yeah. You’re right. Sometimes I forget that. Thank you Hec. – She said smiling. Hector smiled and shook his hand.
- Don’t worry, darling. After all... – He put a lock of hair behind her ear – with the costumes, you can be whoever you want.
The Carnival swarmed the streets of Venice. finished putting his costume on, on the fourth day of festivities, and looked out of the window. He wouldn’t comment that he knew who was. It could ruin everything. And he didn’t want something to go wrong, not this time, not with her. If she asked, he would tell her who he was but he wouldn’t demand the same from her. Moreover, the secret was the amusing part. Not knowing who he was, she could imagine the best and the worse things about him. Maybe she would get disappointed to find out that he was only a of a band. He sighed and straightened his mask.
- But I’ll never do it. – He said out loud. He would never get disappointed with her. was perfect.
- Ready? – took his out of his thoughts and woke up. He was more than ready to meet .
{a/n: put this to load, and play it when I tell you to :D }
In the fervour of the Carnival, ’s hands were sweating each time he saw a green dress.
- Looking for someone? – A soft voice behind him made him turn around quickly, with his heart racing. He grinned when he saw the girl with a green costume; the beautiful eyes staring at him. She was prettier than the last time, and prettier than anyone else wearing green.
- Not anymore. – He answered, smiling sideways and getting closer to her. – You’re beautiful. – He murmured and leaned on, kissing her cheek.
felt her breath fail and her heart race. caught her by surprise in doing that. She felt his breath on her face, his soft lips on her cheeks, and everything seemed to last an eternity. When he drifted away, with a smile, she didn't manage to keep a sigh from escaping through her lips, and didn't let it go unnoticed, however he didn't comment on it.
- So? Are we going to walk or jump with everyone? – asked, hesitating before holding her hand slightly. She smiled sweetly.
- Let’s walk. – She opted, intertwining their fingers. They started to walk in the flux of the feast, initially in silence.
now felt nervous. He was acting with as if they knew each other for a long time, or if they were a couple, but he didn't know how she felt about that. noticed he was tense and got a bit closer.
- Are you ok? – She asked, insecure. looked at her and saw her worry through her eyes, so he smiled.
- Uhum. I’m sorry, it’s just that... I’m acting like this with you, and I don't even know if it bothers you... – He confessed. hurried to deny it.
- Ahn, no, it’s alright. – She said, smiling and blushing.
smiled back and they stared at each other in silence. He felt an impulse to kiss her, but held himself and only smiled, straightening her mask. He slid his fingers to ’s cheek and caressed it slightly. only looked at him, staring at his beautiful face and noticing every small detail of it that wasn’t covered by the dark mask. The unexpected moment went bit by bit, and blushed violently, taking his hand off her face. He lowered his eyes and scratched his neck, embarrassed. found it funny and laughed quietly, taking his hand and going into the crowd again.
- Do you know what I like the more about Carnival? – She asked and he looked at her.
- What?
- When we put on our costumes, we can be whoever we want. – smiled and leaned her head on his shoulder. blushed slightly, but smiled.
- And why would you like to be someone else other than you? – He questioned, nearly letting it slip out that he knew who she was. couldn’t understand why she didn't like to be herself.
- Because sometimes being who you are, isn’t enough. – answered serious. Suddenly, she realized she couldn’t be with . No boyfriend would stand it. She understood, beside , how much of her life she had lost and how much she would still love, when she chose to do what she loved.
- Hey? – called her, noticing that she suddenly became distant and thoughtful.
- Hm? – She became conscious again and blushed. – I’m sorry, I just... Forget it. – lowered her eyes and let go of her hand, hugging her by her shoulder and making her lean her head on his chest. She felt comfortable and smiled slightly, whilst they walked down the stone street.
- Do you want me to take you home? – He asked murmuring. Deep inside, he longed for her to say no. They barely spent time together and he wanted to talk more, observe more and more that incredible girl. With not so different thoughts, shook her head.
- No... Can we go to the park again? – He asked and he grinned.
- Of course. – And he took her there.
Again, they spent the rest of another Venetian Carnival day talking cheerfully. However, the conversation this time was more intimate, psychologically and physically. And at the end of the night, in front of ’s hotel, there was a quick peck as a goodbye.
held a hot cup of caffe latte, sat by the window and observing the cold day that was rising. It was the first day like that since she arrived in Italy, but she wasn’t worried. She liked the cold weather. She was slowly drinking her caffe latte, and each time that heated china touched her lips, she reminded ’s soft and also hot lips upon hers on the night before, when they said goodbye with a slight peck. She rolled on the bed during most of the night, without managing to sleep. She was falling in love, she knew it. She also knew how much it would hurt. Both she and , and she didn't him to suffer, not because of her. He deserved something better than her. She didn't stop in place, travelled the whole world, all the time... She couldn’t get attached to someone or have someone attached to her. Without realizing, tears poured from her eyes and made her cheeks wet. knew which decision to take, she knew it since she realized how much she had lost and would still lose for doing what she loved.
On the following night, she would go to the Carnival. And she would ignore . This couldn’t go forward.
, differently from , woke up with a smile on his face. Without minding the cold weather, he went to the bathroom humming a melody and took a quick shower. He knew why he was so happy; the reason had name, surname and an incredible beauty. He remembered every detail of and of the previous night, and what least left his mind was his boldness to kiss her lips, even slightly. That act left him daydreaming for more than half of the night. He knew the risks it had, but was her, she was the girl he always looked for. He could realize, from what she said on that night, that that was the true , and not the one on the headlines. He should think the opposite, but he knew she was being sincere; she was being herself around him all the time. And that only made feel even more in love with her.
“It’s impossible.” His pride said. “It’s risky.” Experience said. “It’s useless.” Reason said. “Give it a chance.” His heart whispered. He smiled with that quote and went to the street. He needed a coffee. It was colder than he imagined, but the coat and the scarf he was wearing could handle it. He quickly went to a tea house he had seen when he arrived, which seemed cosy.
When he entered the house, small bells rang and he saw it nearly empty. It wasn’t a busy day, maybe because of the cold weather, maybe because it was still morning. Despite the first few people of the Carnival mess were already on the streets, jumping and talking cheerfully. He sighed and thought of her again.
The cold and rainy day went slowly, with the two lovers apart, but connected by their thoughts. They both wanted to see each other; , however, repressed her feelings, feeling the pain of being who she was.
The sixth day of Carnival arose likewise the day before. , watching from the window the people that were on the street, thought about how happy they were, and how they went to celebrate and jump everyday... Without anything to worry about. She couldn’t have all of that.
So, suddenly, a thought scared here: what if was a flirtatious person? What if he went to the Carnival every day, found himself some girls and then came to her, being cute? Making her feel unique...
With anger, she got up and put on the costume she would wear on that day, the blue one. With fluttering and kind of transparent fabrics, the small dress wasn’t really appropriate for cold weather, but she didn't mind and went to the street. She was earlier than she was used to go, but the idea of being with another girl, deceiving her and making a fool about of her, made her angry and she was determined to check if that was really happening or if it was her imagination.
, for some reason, went down early as well. He was anxious, he wanted to meet soon and see her beautiful eyes. He walked through the street and then he saw a known woman, with her back to him. He smiled sideways, getting closer slowly. She was alone, so he leaned on and whispered in her ear:
- You came early today... – He believed it was , but when the girl turned around, he soon recognised her face and saw that he was wrong. – Ahn, Francesca... – smiled awkwardly.
- Heeey... - She, on the other hand, grinned and said with a cheesy voice. scratched his neck, embarrassed. – I haven’t seen you lately. – He gulped as she got closer and closer.
- Yeah... – He said, trying to find a way to escape, but Francesca was quicker than his brain. In a second, she had her lips against his.
, being a man, could not resist and kissed her back. He knew it was wrong with , he felt like a jerk by doing that, even if him and not having anything, but Francesca was really beautiful and the model wasn’t there... Well, at least he thought she wasn’t there.
- Great. – He heard and quickly opened his eyes, getting away from Francesca.
walked through the streets, she had goose bumps because of her outfit. At each men wearing black that passed by, her heart raced, but seeing that it wasn’t him, it calmed down. When she started to think that she was being foolish, she saw her Dark Joker. He was talking to a random woman wearing a silver dress. He smiled foolishly and blushed out of anger. She moved closer with firm steps, but before she could reach them, the girl that talked with got closer and kissed him. The model stopped and took a deep breath, feeling her heart hurt. She liked him, she was in love and it hurt, hurt so much... While she expected that rejected her, he put a hand on the bitch’s waist and couldn’t take no more. A tear flowed through her face and she snorted.
- Great. – She said loud enough. heard her and moved away from the girl, which didn't understand a thing.
- Oh, shit. – He said, noticing the tears flowing upon the face of the masked girl wearing a blue dress in front of him. didn't say a thing more, she just pressed her lips together and ran away.
left Francesca and went after the girl. He couldn’t believe he was idiot enough to do that; he liked , but Francesca was too quick and... Without wanting to think about excuses anymore, he just followed through the crowed, but at each step he lost sight of more. After a while, he stopped and looked through the place, she wasn’t there anymore. He punched a wall nearby and then complained about the stupidity, since his hand was now sore. But nothing hurt more than the memory ’s wet eyes and the tears flowing through her blushed cheeks. He sat on the curb and put his face on his hands. He planned to invite her to the ball on the last day of Carnival; he had seen the leaflet when he went out of the tea house. And he planned on taking her to the tea house, ask her out, date her... He loved . Even her being who she was, internationally known supermodel, he knew more than any magazine, more than any other person, just by talking to her on the two days of Carnival in which they saw each other. {a/n: play the song!}
He took a deep breath and stood up, continuing to search for her. He had an idea of where she could be.
, as she saw the scene, just ran away. She didn't want to go to Carnival anymore, she wanted to go home, go home... Running, she got to the park where she sat with and talked, she had told him her life (omitting her career, of course), she had been honest, she gave herself to him... That’s why she didn't fall in love; everything always went wrong when she fell in love.
The first time I won’t regret
One look into your eyes and I’ll never forget
But you're not about to jump right into
This tonight
It seemed that God was giving her a choice, she would be a model and follow her dream, or she would fall in love and be happy with who she wanted. It was a very hard choice. Without her noticing, it started to rain and she was getting slowly soaked. She didn't mind. The rain hitting her face, hair and body calmed her down. She started to walk through the park; the tears were still running through her face. How could she let herself be carried away by his charms? How could she believe him? And there was , kissing an unknown woman. He shouted for her, she heard, she must have realized who she was and how precious she was... She must have been the best girl that has ever looked at him, and he couldn’t lose her.
- ... – She heard, behind her, and got scared, turning around and facing , gasping.
- How do you know who I am? – She asked, insecure, trying to hide her crying voice.
- Since the first day... Your smile is the most beautiful.
- Don’t talk like this, ! – She exclaimed, closing her eyes. He raised his eyebrow.
- How do you know who I am? – He asked astonished. She stared at him, furious.
I’m letting you down
You are just hiding it so well
You're giving me no sign
No interest
You don’t really want this, you don’t really want this
Right now
Are you gonna try to save yourself?
I bet you're so sick
Of hearing it
You don’t really want this, you don’t really want this now
- Because I saw it on a magazine, which I happened to be in. And because I was an idiot and I took the time to search. – said with disdain.
- Please, let me explain...
- I don’t want explanations! I don’t want to hear anything else from you, why don’t you go back to your hooker? – She said, beginning to walk again. They were already soaked and talking fast, because of the strong rain.
- Because I don’t want to be with her! – He complained, following her. – I want to spend today and all of the other days of Carnival with you!
laughed, sarcastic, and turned around, pointing a finger at him.
- Keep on wishing then. I’m tired. I’m tired of people deceiving me, I’m tired of people being around me because of who I am, I’m tired of being me ok? I’m tired of Carnival, tired of lies, I’M TIRED! – She burst out, crying. – You keep on wishing to go to all the days of Carnival with me, because I won’t come anymore! I’ll go back to work, which I never should have stopped for such a foolish thing! If I hadn’t stopped, I would never have met you, so I wouldn't be like this! – She finished, finally taking a deep breath, leaving wordless and perplexed.
So out the door
Gone away
Running so fast through the pouring rain
Gone forever
So much better
Here tonight
- What... What do you mean "you won't come anymore"? – He was still scared by that. He couldn’t lose her! Not because she was a supermodel or because of all she said, but hell!, he loved her!
- It means Czechoslovakia. France. Anywhere but here, but near you. – answered. Tears were flowing upon her face and mixing with the rain.
- No, you can’t... –He asked, defenseless. He couldn’t let her go like this. – , I’m sorry... If that’s what you want to her, I’m sorry. I didn't mean it, Francesca just gripped me and...
- Francesca? The girl ‘just gripped you’ and you know her name? – asked indignant.
- I met her on the first day of Carnival, but then I didn't see her anymore, only today... I spent the other days with you, think of you. Damn! It’s only you! – He was nearly desperate. took a deep breath and cleaned her face. She took off the mask, she didn't need it anymore, and glared at him.
- I don’t need your apologies. We didn't have anything. Only in my mind, of course. Go back to your Francesca – she said the name with disdain – and forget me.
She started to walk, passing straight by him, which closed his eyes and mentally swore at himself with all the possible bad words. So, in a last hope, he turned around and grabbed her arm.
- I was going to invite you to the Carnival ball. Only us. On the last day. I knew I couldn’t have you for too long... I only want you. I love you. – He said, gulping.
I'd throw it all away for you
If you took another look you'd be back so soon
All alone, a dark cold night
Wrapped around, you better hold on tight
’s legs were jelly; she couldn’t feel the honesty on his last words. No one had ever said those words with such conviction. But what was done, was done. All she did was move closer and put her mouth near ’s ear and whisper.
- Forget me. – So she moved away from him and went through the rain and the night, leaving looking at her shaken. If she had super vision, or if she looked behind, she would notice that some of the drops on ’s face weren’t raindrops.
Down
You are just hiding it so well
You're giving me no sign
No interest
You don’t really want this
It's all right now
Are you gonna try to save yourself?
I bet you're so sick
Of hearing it
You don’t really want this
{n/a: now put this to load, and play it when I say :D ² }
Dawn and had her bags packed. She had already spoken to Evans and would take the plane on that day. She wasn’t fine, her head was spinning, and she was confused. She didn’t know what else to do, and for lack of choice, she decided to move away. From Carnival, Venice, ... She knew that if she continued there, he might find her, and she didn’t want it. Not after the previous night. She sat and crossed her legs, resting her head on the window. Even with the weak rain, people didn’t give up Carnival, and they were there, cheerful and. She held back her tears and went to put make up on to disguise the sleepless night.
awakened completely shaken. He got home soaked and feeling destroyed. None of his friends wanted to ask what happened. He didn’t even shower, just dropped on the bed and faced the ceiling, thinking of . Everything was going perfectly well ... How could he screw everything up? He should have pushed Francesca, should have insisted more with ... No, he shouldn’t. Pressure wouldn’t make her feel what he felt.
Felt . still loved . He couldn’t use the past tense, only when got over it. And it would take some time, he couldn’t forgive himself. Not because he lost the chance to have but because he knew deep down she was the girl who he had been seeking all this time. And he knew she didn’t like anyone, she didn’t fall in love with anyone ... No wonder she felt that he had been playing with her feelings. But he wasn’t...
- Hell ... – He muttered.
The next morning wasn’t any better. He decided to walk around as an attempt to alleviate his head, but his feet ended up betraying him and taking him to ’s hotel. He looked at the building with a chest pain and finally noticed an agitation at the door. He approached and realized, with a twist in the stomach, that was leaving. Bags and employees passed them to a limo. Some time later, she appeared and he found her more beautiful than ever. She wore jeans, a brown overcoat and boots in the same colour, and was holding a black umbrella. She wore glasses, which he found strange since it wasn’t sunny. She passed by him, he felt her perfume and felt his throat close. Before he would cry in public, he took a last look at her and turned away, returning home shaken.
In Czechoslovakia, went from side to side. She was stunned, she was leaving the hotel in Venice and suddenly was there, looking at her with those beautiful and sad eyes. He seemed devastated. She felt so bad, so bad, she done that do him, the boy she loved ... But she couldn’t continue, maybe it was better that way. She didn’t believe that he had been with Francesca willingly anymore, after all he had said. However, she would have to leave anyway, and he would be upset anyway, then she used the excuse of the fight to leave him.
But it hurt, hurt so much ... and it hurt even more to remember his disappointed face, his tears dripping in the rain, his face close to her and telling her that he loved her...
- , honey? - Hector entered the room and she stopped walking, looking at him. He was carrying a frapuccino from Starbucks and on her favourite flavour. - How nervous you are, I’ve never seen you so nervous before a parade! - He said, laughing.
She forced a smile and accepted the frapuccino with a weak 'thank you'.
- It's not exactly the parade that is bothering me ... – She muttered, but Hector didn’t hear it, he was busy going to the door and picking up something. When he showed with a smile the dress that brought, forgot everything for a moment, going to the dress and picking it up.
It was what Hector was supposed to do for the last day of Carnival. It was white with a gray gradient in the direction of the bar and a tight black fabric at the ribs. It also came with a "glove" that was reached the elbow. The black heels that Hector showed were beautiful and fit perfectly. Along with this were also black thights and a ripped one.
- You didn’t finish your mask, but I did this job for you. - He then showed the mask, and looked at it speechless. It was originally white, but they covered it with dark glitter and black sequins, by passing the eyes. It was wonderful.
- It was quite simple. - Hector scowled, he liked extravagance.
- It’s perfect, Hec. - She whispered. She looked at the designer, and hugged him. - Thank you.
- It's a shame that you won’t use it. - He sighed running his hand through the fabric of light fantasy. – Do you want to tell me why? - Hector asked arching an eyebrow and sighed. All that was gone with the arrival of the costume came back now and she threw herself on the couch, placing her hand on her head. Hector sat beside her and she told everything to her friend, even letting tears escape.
- Are you going? - asked , which was lying on the couch. He shook his head. He wouldn’t go to anymore days of the Venetian Carnival. He had given up; it had no fun without his Lotus Princess. - Ok then... But you know that the last day we have to go, right? We will play.
- Yes - I muttered. The band was hired to play at the ball on that same morning. didn’t want to go to the ball; he wanted to escape, because the only girl who he thought to take to the ball, despite refusing, was somewhere he didn’t know where.
- Okay then. Bye. - went out and observed the street with a sigh.
He missed so much. And this nostalgia did no good to him.
The days passed slowly, stopped going to any day of the Carnival, he’d only go to the last one, and was preparing to the first parade after her short vacation. The parade was coincidentally the last day of Carnival.
On this day, at about two o'clock in the afternoon, she walked slowly down the runway. In her mind, thoughts were confused. Thoughts of past and present mingled.
Flashes. Lights. Make up. That was her world. Smiles. Clothes. Fashion clothes. Horrible clothes. Clothes that, willingly or not, she had to wear. That was what she loved to do. But what about the Carnival? More lights. Lipstick. Screams. Boos. Applauses. Arms pulling her. She knew she shouldn’t leave that place, what would she be without that? “Ignore everyone”. Keep walking. Smile fakily. But that didn’t seem like her place anymore. Something was wrong now, since the Carnival. Change clothes. Make up. Lights. Smile. Smile more. Put some effort on! She knew why. Since he presented himself as the Dark Joker. The lights now flashed strongly, the deafening noise, the smiles and cameras... It seemed like the wrong place to be. Deep inside, she knew that wasn’t her place anymore. She knew which one was.
Wherever he was, her place was beside him.
So stopped suddenly realized that much had changed. And she knew what decision to make, then she ran off the runway, her All Star doing an echo on the floor, and she ran. She went through Evans, which stopped her.
- Hey, where are you going so fast, big star? – He called her like that, and she felt disgusted with herself for having endured that nickname for so long.
- To Venice. - She replied, with a superior air. Evans laughed through his nose.
- You have a parade today. You can’t go there now. - heard and narrowed her eyes.
- I don’t have a parade today anymore. - He was confused, but she just turned and kept running until she found Hector.
- Hey! Where are you going, dear?
- I need my costume! - She cried and he raised his eyebrows.
- Your costume?
- Yes, and a ride to the airport. - spoke decisively. Hector smiled and ran with her to the hotel.
- Are you alright, ? - asked and he nodded. It was night and they were masked, walking around the party, waiting for the time they’d play. wasn’t very excited, and indeed they would only play a song, just because the main band ended up being The Maine, who appeared there and was invited. Not that he was complaining, he just wanted to leave and continue drowning in sorrow.
- I'll get something to drink. - He didn’t think that drinking helped him forget the problems because the problems don’t disappear just because you drank, but he needed something alcoholic at that time.
Passing by the people, he felt that someone was watching him, but looking back he couldn’t see anyone facing him. Shaking his shoulders, he continued to head for the refreshment counter. He took a blue drink and put in the mouth, but as soon as the liquid touched his tongue, he heard a voice beside him which prevented him from swallowing and made him spit the drink back into glass.
- ... – It was his name on those lips, on that voice. He turned away amazed and then his mouth opened and he stared static at . was in front of him.
Absurdly beautiful.
His eyes went through every detail of her and he blinked several times, thinking that the drink was really strong, the hallucinations had started and he hadn’t even drunk. She seemed to read his thoughts because she blushed and said:
- This isn’t the effect of the drink. – She muttered, lowering her beautiful eyes to the ground.
- ... ? - He asked stupidly. She smiled shyly.
- Hi - her voice was weak and he was still looking at her perplexed. It really was her?
- What… What are you doing here? - stammered. sighed and leaned against the counter beside her. She pressed her elbow into his body by accident and then he felt and saw that it was real. - I thought you had a parade today.
, starting to get used to her, in part was angry, but most of him showed relief. Why be angry that she left him after he confessed that he loved her? She had reasons to be angry, but she was there, wasn’t she? , when hear his question, looked down again.
- I had.
- And why aren’t you there?
- Because I just resigned my modeling career, if I can say that. – She said and looked at her with an idiot face.
- Is this serious? – He returned to gape. sighed and sorted her black mask (or was it white? couldn’t decide, every time he stopped to examine the mask, he got distract with her lips) and looked at him with those perfect eyes.
- Yes. I'm serious.
- Why did you do that? - He raised his brow. She kept staring at him.
- Because I had to make a choice. – She paused, hesitating, then said firmly. - I chose you.
couldn’t help but smile after what she said. She smiled embarrassed and he left the drink on the counter, pulling her by the waist and kissing her lips. Shooks passed by both of them and they prolonged that kiss, that moment, for as much as their lungs allowed. broke the kiss, but left her face close to ’s, which decided to kiss all the uncovered extent of her face that was possible.
- I... I’m sorry, . – She said in a weak voice, hugging him. He also hugged her and buried his face in her neck, inhaling the delicious perfume she was wearing it and feeling her close to him, really close. The girl he loved was there with him.
- For what? – He whispered, rocking slowly to the music that played.
- For having doubted you, and for having said all those horrible things. For having just gone when you told me the thing that I ever expected to hear from someone I love. - answered and smiled. Before he could answer, appeared and whispered something into his ear. He listened carefully, and only widened the grin.
- Wait here. I'll play now. Pay attention to the music, please. - He told her, and fired up with a quick kiss.
With a smile from ear to ear, he accompanied and met the rest of the band. He took the stage and settled, with a loud applause from the audience. sought ’s eyes and took off his mask, when he found her in the same place as had left her, smiling widely. {n / a: now *O* kk}
- Good evening! We are Before You Exit and will play a song for you! - announced, and then they began to sing.
When the sun shines through my window,
I always think of you.
You've got the eyes of an angel,
You're every dream come true.
That night goes through my head.
I try to rewind.
My girl you're just
one, one, one of a kind.
When I give up and fall down,
you always get me through.
It reminds me of our love,
and everything with you.
When it comes to times like this,
I love what you do.
It's three words in every language,
it's how much
When I look across the skyline,
you're runnin' through my mind.
When trees sway in the nighttime,
you're the one I find.
As the years go by slowly,
I want to hold you close.
I love you so much.
Girl you'll never know!
When I give up and fall down,
you always get me through.
It reminds me of our love,
and everything with you.
When it comes to times like this,
I love what you do.
It's three words in every language,
it's how much, I love you.
I love you.
saw ’s cheerful face smiling at him. That was it, in any language that he said, it would always be 'I love you'. For that girl it would be always that. He smiled back at her and continued playing. Happiness invaded his chest and was shown through the song. He couldn’t believe she was really there, she had chosen him instead of doing what she loved. And that just made him think more and more about how meeting the girl in the Venetian Carnival was pure luck.
When I give up and fall down,
you always get me through.
It reminds me of our love,
and everything with you.
When it comes to times like this,
I love what you do.
When I give up and fall down,
you always get me through.
It reminds me of our love,
and everything with you.
When it comes to times like this,
I love what you do.
It's three words in every language, (3x)
It's how much, I love you
They finished the song and got loads of applauses. smiled and could only see ’s smile and that she liked the song. They went down the stage and he put his mask back. He greeted his bandmates, who were surprised to see his cheerful behavior and asked him what happened. He just grinned and briefly told them what had happened.
- You crappy. - said, making him laugh. stroked his hair and decided it was time to go see how was. He waved and turned to the crowd, walking to the counter. She was still there.
- Hi – He said with a sideways smile and she grinned.
- Hello - She said and he laughed, hugging her again. - Congratulations. I loved the song. - She kissed his neck softly and he looked at her.
- Did you really like it? - He whispered and she nodded. - Good ... – He whispered and kissed her mouth quickly. smiled and looked into her eyes, separating their lips. - I love you. Eu te amo. Yo te amo. Aishiteru. Je t'aime. - He was speaking with accents and laughed, amazed. English, Portuguese, Spanish, Japanese, French ... Any language, she also loved that boy.
- Ok enough. – She put her index finger on ’s lips of , who laughed.
- I hope you understood.
- I did. - She said, smiling broadly, and he turned to kiss her. They were interrupted by many applauses, indicating that The Maine were on stage.
They turned to see and hugged from behind. He rested his chin on her shoulder and smelled the wonderful perfume she wore.
- Good evening everyone! Let's start with a song from our CD "Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop," called Whoever She Is! - John announced and Annelise smiled, leaning her head on ’s.
- I love this song. – She said so that only he would hear. looked surprised.
- Do you like The Maine?! - She laughed and nodded. She turned to and wrapped her arms around his neck.
- There are many things you don’t know about me. - She kissed the tip of his nose. He smiled.
- There will be time to find out. – They kissed for a while. , then, got worried with something else, and then broke the kiss. - What will you say to the media when they find out you gave up your life of glamour and etc because of... Well... Me? - He wrinkled his eyebrows and Annelise just smiled.
- Whoever she is, whoever she may be, you don’t have to worry... - She sang and he smiled, hugging her again.
This is the end
A/N: AWN SUCH A BEAUTIFUL THING * cries *
I think this is the longfic I finished faster, seriously. Okay, it isn’t, because technically I have it since 2009, so it wasn’t so fast.
Well, just a few comments, as you realize the songs are You Do, You Don’t by The Friday Night Boys and Three's Words from Before You Exit themselves. When I started writing, I hadn’t thought about putting any song, but after writing the part of the fight in the rain, I was listening to The First Time from TFNB, and remember that You Do, You Don’t is one of their most beautiful songs and that it was quite a long time I didn’t hear it. When I heard, I realized that would be cool, and when I saw the lyrics, I had i> to put it, only a few bits, but seriously. Perfect. And about Three Words, that song is sooo cute and beautiful, I thought of putting it so that people who don’t know BYE {almost everyone} would at least know one song *-* And after, when I was editing the song with the lyrics, I was like "OMG IT FITS PERFECTLY." Yeah, I freak out at lot, kisses. And I love that song from The Maine, two kisses.
Anyway, I liked this fic, I’m happy it’s over because I'll be honest with you: when I was till writing it with Sonohra, I knew the end had to be her giving up her career for him. Because in the stories it’s usually him giving up everything for her and bla bla bla, I wanted to do this differently. And I wanted to end it soon, even without knowing the development because I wanted to write the end /I’mcrazy,yeah /
I know that things happened quite fast and there weren’t 10 days of Carnival {well, there were but you were not partying at all of them}, but I didn't have much story: B I hope you enjoyed it anyway.
Thanks to Hels, who took the link of BYE’s song for me \ õ / you beauty, always saving me haha
Oh yeah, if anyone thinks this is a curious fact, most of the fic {ok, a good part} was written in my Geography class. Hels know how good I am in Geography and don’t need the classes IAUSHDIUASHDIUSAHDIUSAH
Okay, I talked too much. I’ll shut up now, seriously, kisses kisses *
Anne
A book that ends with no last page, whoever she is, whoever she may be, one thing is for sure, you don't have to worry...
